Weekend #3 of our #UCSacademy workshops.

UCSacademy workshops include professional culinary skills, photographic/videography workshops and creative design.

Tasks included: Album cover, Billboard and Movie poster challenges, followed by a #UCSculinary fine dining cooking workshop, and recipe book cover challenge. Amazing energy and pure creative fun with the team and our fantastic models, Zahra and Big Mike. 3rd October 2023

It would be wrong of me to ask my crew to open up on their own personal experiences without offering my own into the mix. Two years of hell at a notorious Essex boarding school led to my younger life being consumed with drug abuse, leading to being an ex drug user and mental health survivor. I have been left with bouts of crippling anxiety that restrict my life in many ways. After losing our 12-year old daughter, Jodi, to aplastic anaemia in 2010 I’ve also been left with PTSD. I choose to rise above my limitations and face life's challenges one by one.

Our August creative open event, where we celebrated with funders, supporters and new members alike.

SESSION #2

The first day in our new studio, welcoming new members and letting them loose with all our amazing digital creation kit.

SESSION #3

Things get real as the challenges begin and we end the week with four amazing short films and some awesome music productions.

SESSION #4

We take to the streets of Colchester as filming on 'The Slip' begins.

SESSION #5

We wrap up the month with a midweek wind down session, full of creative noise and banter. Final challenge of the week is the first episode for our Youtube 'ZOMBOYZ' gaming channel.

Underdog Crew Studios. Comprising multiple film sets, graphic design, vlogging and editing

suites, teen participants dive in to all aspects of the creative filmmaking process. With an

exciting range of specialist TV production workshops, informal daily drop-in sessions and

annual training programmes. We pride ourselves on making our memberships, courses

and projects available to all, with a clear emphasis on non neuro-typical, autistic and

marginalised teenagers.
